Vision & Mession
As a result of proper initiatives of the Regional Food Controller, Rajshahi Office, the supply of food grains in the markets of different upazilas of Naogaon district and the market prices have remained stable.Naogaon district is considered as food self-sufficient and food surplus district. For the purpose of sending to Sri Lanka, 7500 metric tons of rice has been sent from Naogaon district to Halishahar CSD.In order to provide more incentives to the farmers, the target of paddy procurement has been increased from 1997 metric ton to 265 metric ton. Paddy is being procured from real farmers on the basis of Agricultural Materials Assistance Card and National Identity Card.The price of paddy is being paid directly to the farmers as their own bank. In 2016, 9834.300 metric tons of wheat was collected from real farmers in Naogaon district and the price was paid against the farmer's bank account. The capacity of government archives has been increased from 34250 MT to 39250 MT.In Naogaon district, construction of warehouses with a total capacity of 500 MT at Najipur LSD and 500 MT at Badalgachhi LSD with a total capacity of 1000 MT is in progress. Besides, construction work of warehouse with a capacity of 1000 MT is under process at Saraswartipur mouza of Mahadevpur upazila.
